THE SEA SHAPED IT.

We gave it a second life.
Genuine Caribbean sea glass, found by us beneath the waters of Saint Martin and transformed by hand into one-of-a-kind pieces with a story to tell.
TODAY ON ORIENT BAY

Good morning from Saint Martin

Tuesday, August 18 Morning report by Rhonda Mellor
Beautiful morning on Orient Bay today. The water was calm, with a light breeze and plenty of sunshine. A little sargassum in a few spots, but overall the beach is...
WE CAME FOR THE ISLAND.

We stayed for what the sea kept giving back.

What began unexpectedly during an extended stay on Saint Martin became a passion, then a small business — and somewhere along the way, a community.
We're Rhonda & Nico. Come in. Stay awhile.
OUR STORY
Somewhere along the way, this became home.
THE SEA DOES THE FIRST PART.

We take it from there.

We don't reshape the sea glass into something it isn't. Its color, frost, imperfections and form are part of its history. Our job is to give that history another chapter.

Every Color Has a Story.

Most sea glass began as something ordinary — a bottle, a jar, a piece of tableware. Time, salt and the Caribbean Sea did the rest.

DISCOVER SEA GLASS
MORE THAN SEA GLASS

Somewhere along the way, this became home.

Beach mornings. Family visits. New friends. Unexpected adventures. Saint Martin gave us far more than sea glass — it gave us stories, friendships and memories that became part of By The Sea.
What began as a place we loved to visit slowly became part of who we are. And every year, when we return, it feels a little less like arriving somewhere and a little more like coming home.
Some of our favorite island memories are the ones we get to share.
